If one player is chatting in a manner that the other players find disagreeable, the other players may mute the offender using the /vote mute "Player name" command. 5 votes are required to mute a player for a period of 30 minutes.
If one player is chatting in a manner that the other players find disagreeable, they should ideally advise the player to stop doing so. If the player still continues, other players may report the player using /report "name". This will open up an interface to select which message exactly is the offending one. Having selected the post, one must report it in one of three categories: Toxic Chat and Trolling, Spam or Real Life Politics.

These are the currently available categories, but if you feel that there is some chat that is wrong but doesn't particularly fit in either of these categories, you have to take a looser definition or simply report it under any category and leave the guides to deal with it.

The Developers get notices when player mutes occur, and can remove someone's ability to mute if they are abusing it.
All reports are seen by the Devs or Guides, who may first issue a warning. On persistent offensive behaviour, they may resort to mutes of increasing duration, and in extreme cases to permanent mutes or bans.
