Second verse, (mostly) same as the first. Round 3 is nastier than it may look at first; Dentek collectors are the first drones to have reasonably dangerous armaments and it's easy to underestimate them in large numbers. Again, keep moving to avoid being surrounded, and you should come out just fine.

Try turboing around a little bit to separate out the Assault drones, they are easier to deal with alone than with a giant blob of collectors shooting at you, too.

If your faction standing with TPG is good enough, you can dock at a TPG station and complete 3 test pilot preparation missions in order to become a test pilot. This will give you access to more TPG ships, including the TPG Raptor

These missions all follow a similar rule set: The player must kill ALL drones themselves. The player may not leave the sector to reload or repair.

That said, other players ARE allowed in-sector to repair you with Repair Gun modules, if you have trouble taking too much fire.

The player will be asked to return to the origin station upon completing each part, and the next mission will be available.

TPG Test: Part I

-Wave 1: 5 "Infiltrator" drones. They have very high turbo speed, but do not fire weapons at the player.

-Wave 2: 5 Orun Collectors

-Wave 3: 5 Dentek Collectors

Not very threatening. Just keep moving, and be wary of the attempts to (slowly) surround you.

TPG Test: Part II

-Wave 1: 5 Dentek Collectors

-Wave 2: 5 Artemis Collectors

-Wave 3: 10 Dentek Collectors.

Second verse, (mostly) same as the first. Round 3 is nastier than it may look at first; Dentek collectors are the first drones to have reasonably dangerous armaments and it's easy to underestimate them in large numbers. Again, keep moving to avoid being surrounded, and you should come out just fine.

TPG Test: Part III This one is a bit more interesting. You will, again, be fighting waves of combat drones of escalating difficulty. But this time, you get an NPC wingmate. You should avoid hitting these guys, but otherwise don't worry about them.

-Wave 1: 20 Artemis Collectors. Again, beware being surrounded. Only one of your NPC wingmates will show up for the first wave. They will not shoot at the target drones UNLESS you take damage from the drones.

-Wave 2: 10 Dentek Collectors, 5 Artemis Collectors. 5 Dentek Assaults. No wingman this round.

The Dentek Assaults are serious threats, with high speed and Neutron blasters. Same tactics as before, but even moreso. Try turboing around a little bit to separate out the Assault drones, they are easier to deal with alone than with a giant blob of collectors shooting at you, too.

After killing all combat drones, you will be asked to return to the station, and you will have completed the TPG Test Pilot Program.

This Mission does not unlock the Raptor MkI and II. It unlocks only the TPG Raptor UDV.
