Organization of plug-ins

I intended to actually organize the different plug-ins into categories, so that the Plug-ins page would be more than just an organized rehash of the plug-ins thread over at the VO forums, but didn't quite have the energy or time to do it tonight. I will do it soon, but hopefully without the â„¢ - Ion 22:58, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for setting this up, Ion! I'll try to update my entry when I change things. This helps the wiki be more useful, it's definitely a good idea. - diqrtvpe 11:32, 22 July 2008 (CST)

It struck me tonight that instead of just moaning about an unhandy purely alphabetical list that is incomprehensible to a newb, I could also just try and reorganize it myself. Now I see that Ion wanted to do the same three years ago... I hope my attempt isn't equally doomed to fail. In the next few days & weeks i'll start start working on this, anyone who wants to help me is welcome to do so. --Andy Spades 23:22, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

  • Started working on it now, but I will only post it once it's in a presentable shape. I think I will also try to get rid of many of the external links containing merely descriptions and post the descriptions themselves right here instead. Also I'll have to figure out bloody tables... Oh well. --Andy Spades 23:41, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Likely going to push users to voupr and have the current list archived, since voupr is self-sorted and better updated. Wont remove these, though, since some are still only found here. discussion? --Luxen De'Mark 16:54, 9 July 2017 (EST)

Correction, will be table-izing the listed plugins. New format will list Plugin Name - Download location(s) - Supports Neoloader yes/no - single line description

Plugin name will be Green, Yellow, Red bg in frame for "Actively Supported", "Works but not supported", "Does not work"

This will better help new users recognise which plugins to avoid or plugin authors which could be a new project. --Luxen De'Mark 14:44, 17 April 2023 (EST)

Return to "Plug-ins" page.
