NPCs NPC traders can be found in convoys trading all around the galaxy. They are commonly found flying [[TPG Teradon FrigateConstellation Heavy Transport]]s, [[Trident Light Frigate]]s, [[Behemoth]] Heavies (armed with two Capital Gatling Turrets), [[WraithCentaur]]s, and [[ECAtlas]]es, also [[Goliath]]s, and [[Capella]]s. Convoys of NPC traders launch from stations and carry cargo to other stations, either as part of an [[Missions#Faction_VariantsEscort|Axia EC-101B'sEscort Mission]], or periodically on their own. They are usually accompanied by an NPC fighter escort consisting of [[Vulture|Vulture MkIV]] and [[Centurion|Centurion MkIII]] ships. Pirates often prey on NPC traders for the cargo they carry, attacking them in places where their local standing holds no penalty for kills, such as [[Systems#Grey_Space_Systems|Grey Space]] wormhole sectors.It is also currently possible to kill convoys of subfactions (non-nations) in nation-space wormhole sectors. For the emerging voy-farmer, it is useful to know which convoys to kill for best yeild: Xang Xi, Aeolus, Ineubis and Tunguska: These subfactions are likely to carry addons, the probability in descending order. Biocom: This subfaction frequently carries expensive commodities such as Neural Nodules and Nanite Modulators, which can be sold to stations for high prices.  Orion and Axia: These convoys usually don't carry valuable cargo, but sometimes can carry semi-valuable cargo such as Verasi Speciality Foods, or Addons such as the Axia Accelerated Positron Blaster, Orion XGX Phase Blaster, etc. TPG and Valent: These convoys usually have bad drops, and often travel in huge and difficult-to-kill convoys. Not an appealing target for someone farming convoys for profit.
