There are several race tracks in the Vendetta universe. These race tracks require the most agile of ships and a very talented pilot, one wrong move and your time won't score, or your ship will explode. Most pilots use the [[Centurion]] and [[Vulture]] class ships. Those that use the Centurion will most likely use the Itani and Orion variants. Those using the Vulture will most likely choose the Serco variant. While the Vulture provides better handling than the Centurion it has a higher chance of damage upon collisions due to the large wingspan. The current set of race tracks are located in Sedina [[#Sedina_B-5|B-5]], [[#Sedina_D-5|D-5]], [[#Sedina_E-5|E-5]], [[#Sedina_F-5|F-5]], [[#Sedina_G-5|G-5]], [[#Sedina_H-5|H-5]].

== Deneb Run ==
Galaxy-wide race. Starts in Odia M-14 and makes a clockwise loop around and back to Odia M-14. Racers must fly though Serco & Itani space and return to Grey Space. Once again active and being hosted by TheLaZyDJ and Vendetta On-Air, look for dates/times to appear on the login news highlights, as well as in the RP forum.

== Corporate Sector Run ==
UIT Corporate race. Starts It was once hosted by players and started in Helios B-14 and makes made a clockwise loop though UIT controlled systems, though through Grey Space and back to Helios B-14. It's now an automated event, and was integrated into the game in April 2020. *Corporate Sector Run starts in Odia M-14 every Saturday at 21:00 UTC. *You're required to take a mission to register for the race if you want to participate. (Pirates do not have to register)*Racers are not allowed to use Greyhounds. Any other ship is eligible.*The race goes through Sedina, Latos, Through UIT Space, and back to Odia M14 via Edras, Pelatus, and Bractus.*Participants don't have to be docked when the race begins. (You can wait at the jump point before the race starts)*Prizes include 5 million credits and an engraved trophy for first place. 2 Million for second place, and 1 million for third.*Prizes are also awarded to pirates for the most recent racer kills outside of Odia M-14 and less than 3 racers finish.*You have to dock once you return to Odia M14 in order to finish the race.*Racers progress will be tracked and visible to all on channel 100, and the winners will appear in the news.

The Vendetta-Online universe offers player-run events such as the galaxy-wide Deneb Runâ„¢ Run and the Corporate Sector Runâ„¢Run. In these large-format events, racing is open to all participants, with cash prizes usually offered by a sponsor.

The Deneb Run is the original 'marathon' race in Vendetta and was the brainchild of Martin and the mercenary guild [BLAK]. ''It would be really great if Martin would add some background here.''<br>
After [BLAK] dissolved, the sponsorship of this popular race was taken up by the [TGFT] and [EnB] guilds, the two largest trade guilds extant in the Vendetta universe. As of this writing, it is customary for the lieutenant TheLaZyDJ of [TGFT], Screwball, Vendetta-OnAir to host the racesDeneb Run, deliver running as well as provide commentaryon VO's shoutcast station, www.vendetta-onair.com, and to hand out the prize moniesprizes. Veteran racers also have been known to be substitute-hosts in Screwball's the regular host absence.
