While Vendetta Online is a fairly open game, there are still some rules that are enforced. The enforcement is done by the Guides and the Developers. Some enforcement can also be done by players, using the /vote command.

Rules
There are a couple of rules that are enforced by the Guides (Vendetta's version of Game Masters.). *Exploiting A Bug - This isn't is not allowed because you are unfairly using a bug to your (unfair) advantage and not , without reporting it. This can get you banned from the game for an indefinite amount of the time.*Verbally Assaulting Players - This makes people dislike eachother and makes the game unpleasant to otherscauses general unpleasantness. If you do this , a guide will warn you, if . Should you do not listen , you will receive a temporary mutebe temporarily muted. While muted you You will still be able to message the guideguides while muted.
Guides
Guides make sure people behaveenforce decent behavior, and they also help people with questions about the game and with bugs. When you are spoken to by a guide Guide speaks to you about inappropriate behavior, their text you will appears recieve a white and their name will appear as message from "Guide1234" (numbers vary from guide Guide to guideGuide) if . If you are muted , you can still message the guide by typing:
*/msg Guide1234 (your [message)]Abusing this will just simply increase the amount length of time for which you are muted. == Players==If one player is chatting in a manner that the other players find disagreeable, they should ideally advise the player to stop doing so. If the player still continues, other players may report the player using /report "name". This will open up an interface to select which message exactly is the offending one. Having selected the post, one must report it in one of three categories: Toxic Chat and Trolling, Spam or Real Life Politics. These are the currently available categories, but if you feel that there is some chat that is wrong but doesn't particularly fit in either of these categories, you have to take a looser definition or simply report it under any category and leave the guides to deal with it. All reports are seen by the Devs or Guides, who may first issue a warning. On persistent offensive behaviour, they may resort to mutes of increasing duration, and in extreme cases to permanent mutes or bans.
