[[ChangeLog/1.8 Vendetta Online 1.8.647 introduced the /showcommands command, which reveals all existing game commands to the user, including ones created through aliases and plugins. The commands listed first cover the most important to remember, while the rest of the base game commands are listed together at the bottom.

/Activate

Subcommand Description Default Key

/buddy

invite <playername> Invites another player to be your buddy [none]
accept <playername> Accepts another player's buddy invite [none]
decline <playername> Declines another player's buddy invite [none]
remove <playername> Removes another player from your buddylist [none]
list Lists all your buddies [none]
online Lists your buddies who are currently online [none]
notify [on|off] Turns notification of a buddy's online status on/off. Note: This does not affect whether said buddy can see your online status. [none]
note <playername> <message> Leaves a message that a buddy will see next time he/she logs in. Note: Only one note can be left - if this command is run again, the previous note will be overridden. [none]

/gunner

invite <playername> Invites another player to be your gunner [none]
accept <playername> Accepts another player's gunner invite [none]
decline <playername> Declines another player's gunner invite [none]

kick <playername> Removes a player riding in your vessel [none]
leave Leave the ship you are currently riding as gunner on [none]
view (needs verification) lists all members riding your ship as a gunner [none]

/duel

Subcommand Description Default Key
[none] Displays a list of duel commands when typed out; use it for dueling other players. If you want to see a duel command, check with this command. [none]
challenge <playername> Challenge someone in your sector to a duel. The challenge remains standing for 2 minutes until accepted or declined. [none]
accept <playername> Accept someone's duel challenge against you [none]
decline <playername> Turn down someone's duel challenge [none]
abort Request the duel end in a draw. Both duelers must use this command. [none]
forfeit Request the duel end as a loss for you. [none]
rating <playername> Shows someone's current rating in the duel ladder. If no name is provided, view your own. [none]

/guild

Subcommand Description Default Key
[none] Displays a list of guild commands when typed out; use it for player guilds. If you want to see a guild command, check with this command. [none]
create <acronym> <full name> Creates a temporary guild with the provided acronym and name. You need 10 members to make the guild permanent and unlock guild features. [none]
invite <playername> Invites a player to your guild. Only Commanders and LTs can use this command. [none]
join <playername> Joins someone's guild, if they sent you an invite. [none]
decline <playername> Turn down a guild invite from someone [none]
expel <playername> Kicks someone out of the guild. Only commanders and LTs can use this command. [none]
promote <playername> Raises a member to LT status. Only usable by the guild commander. [none]
demote <playername> Drops an LT to member status. Only usable by the guild commander. [none]
resign <status> Leave the post of the guild. If the status provided is "member", leave the guild entirely. [none]
vote <status> <playername> <yes or no> Casts your vote on whether the player gets the new position listed in status or not. Only usable by council. [none]
list Print all online guild members to chat [none]
motd <message> Set the login message of the guild. Only usable by the guild commander. [none]
deposit <amount> <reason> Give money to the guild with the provided reason. [none]
withdraw <amount> <reason> Take money from the guild with the provided reason. [none]

/group

Subcommand Description Default Key
[none] Displays a list of group commands when typed out; use it for player groups. If you want to see a group command, check with this command. [none]
create Create a new group and add yourself to it [none]
invite <playername> Sends an invite to the player to join your group. If you are not in one, creates one and adds you to it. [none]
join <playername> Accepts a valid invite from another player to join their group. [none]
kick <playername> Remove the player from your group. You must be the group creator. [none]
leave Leave your active group. [none]
view Display all group members. [none]

/mentor

Subcommand Description Default Key
[none] Displays a list of mentor commands when typed out; use it for player help. If you want to see a mentor command, check with this command. [none]
invite Asks another player to be your mentor. Use this command if you feel you need help that cannot be given by the game's tutorial or by written documentation. [none]
accept Accepts another player's offer to be your student. Requires you to have been invited by the player. [none]
decline Declines another player's offer to be your student. Requires you to have been invited by the other player [none]
rate [good/bad] Rates your mentor. Usable only after you have gained a license after you acquired your mentor. Only takes "good" or "bad" as input. [none]


Quitting

Command Description Default Key
quit (verify this?) Brings up the options/quit menu. Does exactly what the descripton says. Escape
logoff Logs you off immediately if you are docked, or begins the 10 second countdown process for logging off. Same as selecting Logoff from the options menu. [none]

Zoom Commands

+zoom Zooms in. A hold-key. When the key is pressed, +zoom is activated. When it is released, -zoom is activated. i
-zoom Zooms out to normal settings. A hold-key. When the key is pressed, +zoom is activated. When it is released, -zoom is activated. (i)

Speech Commands

say Brings up a messaging prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends sector/mission-chat. Sends text to your sector or to the mission computer, depending on which tab you have activated. t
say_sector Brings up a sector-chat prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends sector-chat. Sends text to your sector or to the mission computer, depending on which tab you have activated. T
say_channel Brings up a channel-chat prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends channel-chat. Sends text to your current channel. t
say_group Brings up a group-chat prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends group-chat. Sends text to your group. g
say_guild Brings up a guild-chat prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends guild-chat. Sends text to your guild. G
say_station Sends text to the station you are docked with. Obviously, you need to be docked to use this command. none
sector Brings up a sector-chat prompt when bound to a key; otherwise sends sector-chat. Alias for say_sector. none
join [channel] Joins specified channel. Valid channel numbers range from 1 to 4294967295. none
leave [channel] Leaves specified channel. Valid channel numbers range from 1 to 4294967295. none

Interface

Command Description Default Key
+toplist Brings up the user select panel. Use to find players/NPCs that you can target. Targets within 3000m (radar range) will be displayed as brighter than targets outside radar range. u
nav Brings up the navigation interface. n
charinfo Opens the character information screen of your target. If you have no target selected, this command opens your own information screen. k

Miscellaneous commands

These are the rest of the commands that can be used in the base game.

Command Description
report <playername> Opens the report mechanism used for stopping bad behavior
ignore <playername> Ignores the provided player for the game session. If no name is provided, lists everyone on your ignore list currently.
