MediaWiki talk:Sidebar

Revision as of 05:25, 16 July 2005 by Lemming (talk | contribs) (Discuss!)
  • Well, I can get links into the side bar, but as far as having them do something, that's another matter, they all seem to make links to unknown locations other then what I specify. Looked into the wikipedia help unsuccessfully, will continue to look into this. Annoying!! --Mark McDoogle 5 July 2005 16:12 (CST)

i r genius

Steps: add a new section to MediaWiki:Sidebar in the form of

    • title-url|title

Create a new page called MediaWiki:title-url containing the place you want to link to. For an example, look at MediaWiki:editorsmain-url.

Create a new page called MediaWiki:title containing the link title. For an example, see MediaWiki:editorsmain.

Right, I can't decide which way I like it. I'm so use to it being under navigation but I'm not sure.

Return to "Sidebar" page.
