The Deneb Run was originally the brainchild of Martin, and the mercenary guild [BLAK]. ''It would be really great if Martin would add some background here.'' - LeberMac
After [BLAK] dissolved, the sponsorship of this popular race was taken up by the [TGFT] and [EnB] guilds, the two largest trade guilds extant in the Vendetta universe. As of this writing, it is customary for the lieutenant of [TGFT], Screwball, to host the races, deliver running commentary, and to hand out the prize monies. Veteran racers also have been known to be substitute-hosts in Screwball's absence.
