The universe of Vendetta Online is divited into three user-playable nations (the Itani, the Serco, and the UIT) and many smaller non-playable factions.
UIT Subfactions
- The Propeller Group is the largest and oldest of the UIT corporations. It serves as the peacekeeper between the corporations, preventing outright Corporate Wars.
- BioCom Industries specializes in biotechnology, although they also provide ships and other equipment.
- Valent Robotics is the second-oldest UIT corporation. It's Marauder Rev B offers the second-largest hold in the Marauder class, and its EC-101 Type B offers the second-largest cargo hold of any of the EC-series ships.
- Orion Heavy Manufacturing, once a drill bit manufacturer, now manufactures many popular ships and weapons.
- Axia Technology Corp is a large corporation which provides a diverse array of ships and weapons.
Independent Factions
- Corvus Prime is Vendetta Online's pirate faction. They operate out of gray space, with headquarters in the Odia system.
